Everyone at KernelRun has spent time managing cloud infrastructure at scale. We know what a confusing bill feels like.
David spent nearly a decade building and running platform infrastructure at high-growth technology companies before co-founding KernelRun. He has seen the cost visibility problem at three different scales — startup, mid-size, and late-stage — and built KernelRun to solve it at all three. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon.
Marcus built the first version of KernelRun's scheduling engine as a side project while leading infrastructure at a Series C fintech. He is responsible for product architecture and the engineering team. His background is distributed systems, with particular depth in resource orchestration and billing data pipelines.
Priya joined KernelRun as the first product hire after six years in product roles at developer tooling companies. She drives the product roadmap and works directly with customer teams to make sure what we build matches what engineering organizations actually need — not just what looks good in demos.
We're a small team. Everyone's work shows up in the product.
Most decisions get made by the person closest to the problem. Titles matter less than judgment and communication.
We're distributed across time zones. We write things down, document decisions, and bias toward async over scheduling another meeting.
We deploy multiple times a day. If something isn't working, we find out fast and fix it. We don't polish forever before shipping.
Looking for infrastructure engineers, product managers, and customer success folks. Fully distributed roles available.
